Returns, refunds and core returns
Reviewed before parts are ordered or fulfilled Performance parts are supplier-backed and fitment-sensitive. Rankin confirms return limits, core terms, warranty route and fulfillment path before parts move.Policy summary
Returns and special orders
- Non-returnable special orders, backordered parts, installed parts, electrical items, opened packaging and supplier restocking rules are flagged before parts are ordered or fulfilled.
- Customer-requested cancellations are reviewed against supplier order status, payment status, payment processing, and whether the part has already been ordered, shipped, installed or specially sourced.
- Return shipping, restocking fees and supplier inspection outcomes can affect the final credit or refund amount.
- Street/off-road and race-use restrictions are reviewed before fulfillment; parts cannot be supplied for illegal road-use emissions deletes.
Core returns
- Core-sensitive items include turbochargers, injector sets, injection pumps, transmissions, converters, ECUs/modules and supplier exchange programs.
- Rankin confirms whether a core charge applies, the supplier return window, condition requirements, required packaging, return shipping responsibility and credit path.
- Core credit depends on supplier inspection. Damaged, incomplete, disassembled, late or wrong cores may reduce or void the credit.
- Core return details are kept in the Rankin handoff so the customer knows what must come back and when.
